Biolook Hair Salon is the new chapter for a legendary Barcelona hair and beauty salon with more than 40 years of history and a loyal clientele. As they transition into the natural and sustainable market, my challenge was to create a fresh identity that speaks to younger generations while still honouring the brand’s heritage.

The goal was to avoid clichés and instead craft a visual identity that feels genuine, timeless, and connected to its Catalan roots. I explored historical letterforms and traditional signage for inspiration, developing concepts that balanced contemporary aesthetics with nostalgic charm. The final design pairs a refined retro-inspired typeface with a botanical symbol drawn from both natural ingredients and the ornamental details of Barcelona’s modernist architecture.
